A woman with short, light-brown hair, wearing a navy blue blazer over a white blouse, is sitting in front of a modern laptop with an illuminated apple logo. She is looking to her right, perhaps off-camera, with a focused expression. A white bottle of water, a dark blue mug, and a small potted succulent are on the table to her right. A second potted succulent, an apple mouse, a notebook and pen, a rectangular dock with several cables connected to it, and a large black monitor on a silver stand are on the table to her left. The background is a clean, modern, open-plan office. Sunlight streams through a large window to her right.

One hand uses a black pen to write on the form fields displayed on the screen, while the other rests near the keyboard and touchpad. The laptop screen shows the prominent heading "INTERCULTURAL LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME FORM FOR GORM LEARNING" and a small G logo integrated into the blue header bar. Blurry potted plants and blurred windows with natural light are in the background. Polished wood desk.

What people say

From our employers

We had an amazing experience receiving GORM’s intercultural Competence Training! As the leader of a large volunteer based organisation, this training has equipped us better for the welcome diversity of backgrounds and perspectives we wish to foster! A digestible and superbly delivered application of what cultural differences can mean in any workplace! Highly recommended!

Mick Ledden
PsyCare Ireland

A very informative workshop delivered with care, passion and knowledge. I appreciated the real life examples related to our Festival and across various sectors of our Festival. I left the workshop feeling empowered and more informed on topics that are close to my heart.

Elena Toniato
Galway International Arts Festival

The experience of dealing with the team from GORM has been amazing from the very start. I felt like everything I discussed when I first met Beatriz was followed through by Leticia. It was thought provoking but also put up in an uncomfortable space as a team, something we need to get better at. I hope to have GORM back to ULSL again.

Nicole Ryan
University of Limerick

Bea was an amazing facilitator who provided us with complex ideas in an understandable and approachable format.

Shona Casidy
Maynooth University

Beatriz was great and really engaging with the participants. It was very immersive and they learnt a lot.

Juliette Bonass
Screen Ireland Crew Academy

Participating in the ‘Introduction to Intercultural Competence’ training was a transformative experience. The program provided essential tools for navigating cultural nuances, from the ‘Iceberg Model’ to understanding high- and low-context communication. I particularly valued the collaborative group work and visualisations, which made complex theories tangible. This training is a must for any art professional looking to work ethically and effectively in a global context.
